Divya Warier, is a leading practitioner and dedicated inheritor of Sougandhika style of Mohiniyattam, trained under Dr. Neena Prasad. She is the Trustee at Warrier foundation, founder of Avyukt Arts and a sought after Mohiniyattam performing soloist. As a dedicated teacher & Educator, Divya Warier has been actively training students in Bharatanatyam, for over two decades through her institution, Avyukt Arts.
Alongside her accomplishments as a dancer and choreographer she is recognised as a force of change for culture through her
initiatives in arts. She is credited to bring Mohiniyattam at varied avenues for the first time , sp& also volunteers at several not for
profit organisations and aims to contribute to society through her art. Deeply committed to social impact, she actively engages Underprivilege Students to learn Bharatnatyam at Avyukt Arts. She is a strong educator in the field of Bharatnatyam since two decades.

Training
Divya Warier has been undergoing extensive training in Mohiniyattam under the renowned dance exponent, research scholar & Guru Dr. Neena Prasad in the Soungadhikam Kalari for the past 10 years. She began her Dance journey in Bharatanatyam at the age of three and has remained deeply committed to the form as both a performer and teacher. Trained under Guru Smt. Jayashree Nair at Upasana Academy, Mumbai, she completed her Arangetram at the age of twelve and has since performed across prestigious platforms She holds a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Bharatanatyam from Sastra University under Dr. Padma Subramaniam, reflecting a strong academic foundation in classical dance. Her advanced training in Abhinaya includes guidance from renowned gurus such as Smt. Shobana Bhalchandra, Smt. Anupama Kailash, Sri Jayachandran (JC Anna), Smt. Rama Vaidyanathan, enriching her interpretative depth and expressive vocabulary.

Divya is a Graded artiste of Mumbai Doordarshan in both styles Mohiniyattam & Bharatnatyam PEDAGOGY & INSTITUTIONAL WORK Divya Warier is the founder of Avyukta Arts, through which she has been teaching Bharatanatyam for over two decades. She currently mentors 200+ students across Mumbai and Kerala and has trained students internationally in the United States, Dubai, and Canada. Her pedagogy integrates traditional rigor with structured academic pathways, preparing students for Gandharva Mahavidyalaya and Nalanda Dance Research Centre examinations while nurturing artistic individuality and discipline. CONTINUING PRACTICE & MUSICAL TRAINING She continues to deepen her practice through training in Nattuvangam under Sri Kalishwaran Pillai and her mentor Dr. Neena Prasad. Simultaneously, she is pursuing Carnatic music, strengthening her understanding of rhythm, composition, and performance structure. Her ongoing engagement with workshops and interdisciplinary learning reflects a commitment to evolving within the classical framework while staying rooted in tradition.
